The Waterwheel Inn is located on the A93, the road running between Aberdeen and Braemar.
Both Aberdeen Airport and the train station are approximately a 15 minute drive away. The Waterwheel Hotel is conveniently situated for the local bus services into the centre of Aberdeen which is a short 15 minute drive away. Guests may enjoy many attractions here as well as the nightlife with many excellent clubs, bars and restaurants. Countless shopping venues, the tourist area as well as links to the public transport network can be found just six km away. The Waterwheel Inn was originally a seventeenth century working corn-mill and still today the Waterwheel is a highlight in one of our three function suites, The Waterwheel Inn Conservatory lounge bar, offers guests a relaxed atmosphere and excellent traditional lunch, evening and snack menu. We are fully versed in Banqueting and Conferencing with three function rooms to chose from, our capacity can range from 20 - 150 people. We are happy to cater for smaller meeting room requests. The Waterwheel Inn has a separate guest entrance hall with reception area. The Waterwheel Inn has excellent parking Facilities with over 80 car parking spaces Available Free of Charge. We also provide Disability Car parking spaces. We cater for Coach Parking by prior arrangement. Guests can also make use of Wi-Fi facilities throughout our Hotel and a laundry room for our guests. The Waterwheel's accommodation offers a warm and comfortable atmosphere through their use of soft tones and oak furnishings. From most of the rooms guests have a magnificent view over the surrounding natural landscape and farmland. Tea and coffee-making facilities, and en suite bath shower with hairdryer, TV, iron and ironing board and trouser press all come as standard. Wi-Fi is also available in some rooms. The Waterwheel Inn is situated approx 5 miles from Aberdeen City Centre, just off the North Deeside Road past Bieldside. We are ideally situated for trips to the Royal Deeside, we are on the Castle Trail and there is a local Malt Whisky Distilery 15 miles South of our Hotel in the popular Town of Banchory that do daily whisky tours.
